For Darius Rucker, maintaining a healthy music career has appeared to be no trouble. From Hootie and the Blowfish to the solo country star we know by name, the 'History in the Making' singer has topped the charts in many genres and given us countless memorable tunes featuring his ultra-recognizable voice.
Rucker released his fourth album, Southern Style on March 31st, 2015 and added to his ever-mounting pile of hits like "Don't Think I Don't Think About It," "I Got Nothin'," "Alright," "It Won't Be Like This for Long," with "Homegrown Honey". From Hootie and the Blowfish frontman to bona-fide country music sensation, Rucker achieved the impossible, and his future in country music appears to be very bright.
Warner Music Nashville’s new duo Dan + Shay (Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney) are currently in the studio recording their debut album in Nashville, TN. The album, expected next year on Warner Bros. Records, will feature their newly released first single "19 You + Me."
Meeting in December of 2012, Dan and Shay quickly hit it off with their musical similarities. The two began writing together and from those sessions their relationship grew to include performing together. From there, the duo discovered an infectious original sound all their own, mixing country rock/pop seamlessly throughout intimate power-ballads and stadium-worthy hits.
Florida's Michael Ray has a resonant voice and a knack for crafting vibrant, upbeat contemporary country-rock. Although he built a strong grassroots fan base in Southern Florida, Ray also gained prominence as the winner of the CW network's reality television vocal competition The Next: Fame Is at Your Doorstep in 2012.
After the show, Ray signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music and in 2014 released the single "Kiss You in the Morning." His full-length major-label debut followed in 2015 on Warner Music Nashville, making it to number four on the country albums chart
